Job Description

Background:

Access to quality technical support and advice, as well as access to relevant existing data in a timely, accurate and consistent manner is essential to ensure and enhance the effectiveness of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) emergency response. On behalf of IASC WASH Cluster, UNHCR has been delegated to lead a project which is aimed at developing a strategic framework for technical support services (TSS) for WASH sector through review of currently available technical support services, analysis of gaps in provision of such services, drafting of terms of services by a few selected potential partners and then implement a pilot technical support service for the Emergency WASH Sector.
